
Family Therapy
Everyone comes from a family, and ideally, our families are a source of love, support, and safety. But when communication breaks down, conflict can often take over. One of the main goals of family counselling is to support families in moving toward a healthier, more balanced way of relating. I work with families—or with a parent and teen—using a family systems approach. This means we’ll look at how each person’s role and relationships within the family may be influencing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. The goal is to repair strained or broken connections and foster stronger, more supportive relationships within the family.
